Peace, Love and Spaceships!
We are the University of Edinburgh Science Fiction and Fantasy Society - a group of students (and ex-students, and students' better halves, and ex-students' better halves...) who get together, watch DVDs and drink alcohol.
What do we do?
During term-time we meet every Thursday in Appleton Tower at 7pm to watch TV Series, retiring at 9pm to the Pleasance bar for drinks and an opportunity to use our two member's librarys - one of books, and one with a limited number of DVDs. For more information on this, see our events page.
We also have regular Saturday film nights at 16/3 Grove Street from 8pm to 12pm.
How to join
To join, all you need to be is an Edinburgh University student and give our treasurer the princely sum of three pounds at one of our pub meetings in the Pleasance. For this, you will get access to both our book and DVD libraries.
If you are not a student, never fear! For six pounds, you can still be a member! Again, just talk to our Treasurer (or any other committee member).
